T & C’s for the Bokeh 2017 South African International Creative Hair Styling Competition
THEME: “ETHERIAL LUST”
The competition is open to Professionals, Students and Graduates from all Salons , the trade and Tertiary Institutions.
All Submissions must be received by the 10th of March 2017.
You are required to submit 4 images of previous creative work.
We’d also like a short bio about yourself (one paragraph!)

Finalists will be announced on the 13th of March 2017.
Multi Award Winning, Internationally renowned Hair Stylist, Kelly Red, will be selecting the 10 Finalists.
Please note: NO GLITTER IS PERMITTED ON THE MODEL’S BODY OR HAIR AS THIS WILL RESULT IN INSTANT DISQUALIFICATION. (We are near very expensive motor vehicles and need to keep all product on the models and off the vehicles and showroom carpets)
ALLOWED IN THE CONTEST:
*Nails and Hair Color may be prepared before the competition
Wigs and Hair Pieces to applied only at the competition
Each Hair Artist may have an assistant to help.
Label-M will supply all styling product
Artist to supply all hardware equipment (Scissors, hairdryers, tongs etc…)
IMPORTANT!
The emphasis is on CREATIVE HAIR STYLING.
Fashion Designer Kim Gush will be dressing all the models for judging and Red Carpet.
Make-up will be done by a supplied professional artist for photos and Red Carpet.
Accreditation will be at the Venue on Friday the 7th of April 2017, between 12 and 1pm. Work Stations will be allocated on a first come first serve basis at registration.
On the 7th of April 2017, your model may arrive at the venue at 1 pm, (Nails and Hair Color may be completed before arrival) – the Creative Hair Cutting and Styling to be from 2 – 4pm at the competition venue.
Make-up and Dressing to be from 4pm to 5pm.
Photos and Video will be taken of each model on the set at the Venue before the Guests arrive from 5pm to 6pm.
Judging will take place on the Red Carpet between 6:30pm and 8:00pm. Models will walk the Red Carpet alongside VIP guests AND THE STYLISTS while being judged.
Winners will be announced at the Live Awards Ceremony at 9pm.
Results:
The Judges’ decisions are final.
The head Judge at the event will be KELLY RED
The full Judging Panel will be announced on Social Media in February 2017.
